The Daneo villa (XVI-XVII Century)

Multiple building structure, erected between 1650, 1740 and 1790. On the western wing, with two overground levels, there is a carriage entrance and a cross front door and columned hall, from where you can access to the monumental salon withn a frescoed cealing (representation of the Cisalpine Repulic), leading to the first floor. The access to the level goes trought the Music lounge, frescoed with Arcadia styled motives and floored in ceramic, central rosette and old style double door, overlaped in painted canvas. In three of the lateral lounges, there are some wallpapres preserved and chinoiseries motives. In the central wing, constructed on three above ground levels, with a lodge, there are precious piedmontese styled coffered cealings. On the southern side, there is a long eighteen- century penthouse used to protect the wine vats. The villa is surrounded, by a park, on three sides of the building withancient horse chesnuts and magnolia trees. In conclusion in the eastern wing, on two levels above ground, there are cruise vaults on the ground floor.
