Description
Railway Bridge related to the Bricherasio - Barge track inaugurated in 1885. the bridge, constructed in stone brick walls, is 101.20 meters long, circa 5.00 meters wide, and is made by 5 arched spans, with a 16 meters long light each. Every light lies on rectangular pillars that are a little longer than the bridge largeness, having rounded ends and being 1.50 meters large. The bricked edges are overlooked by a shaped, stone block parapet from which in correspondence of the pillars there are some protruding stone mantles, sustained by moldings, made to host the pillars in which the railway track electric power surce was locateed. The rounded edges of the pillars located on the W side and counter - current are reinforced by stone blocks; on the E edge, on the back side of the bridge, a reinforced concrete boardwalk has been leaned against it. this leans on two other pillars, liyng itself on te preexisting pillars, so that a pedestrian walktrought is avaliable, on the side of the railway track. The bridge "fundant stucture", sine the reilway track has been demolshed in 1961, is now used as cycling track.
